ARC Class January 2017
ARC (Activity and Recreation Center) is a recreational center for seniors 55 or older in Normal, IL. We taught a very basic two hour carving class on how to carve a Santa Claus face on a piece of Styrofoam sculpture board. We had quite a few students sign up for the class and ended up with seven of them joining the club. We are also working with ARC to try and teach a much more detailed beginners class. Mike Hartzler lead the class and a few more experienced club members helped out. The class was very well received and most of the students agreed they would like more comprehensive training sessions.
