2011 Show

The Corn Belt Carving Club of McLean County Illinois held the 11th annual Sculptures in Wood Carving Show and Sale at Illinois Wesleyan University’s Shirk Center in Bloomington, Illinois.   It was a great show and fun for all.

NOTE:

Our annual shows have always been held in May of each year.  In 2012 we will be moving to October 20 and 21st.  We will still be at the Shirk Center so be sure and mark your calendars and join us for another great show!

The Corn Belt Carving Club has been hosting the show to promote the art and beauty of woodcarving to the general public and other woodworkers. The club also teaches a beginners woodcarving class in association with the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department, as well as teaching woodcarving to scouts, school groups, and clubs.

Tim Rundall of the Woodchip Shop and wood vendor, Rod Wilcox were there selling a variety of woodcarving products and tools.
