| Heather is a very talented artist and has
produced many fine works. She entered her first competition at the
International Wood Carvers Congress at Davenport, IA in June of 2001.
She came away with a second place finish in plaques with the State of
Illinois seal pictured with Heather above. Not bad for first
competition in an international event.
Since then Heather has entered this piece in other
competitions and received best in show honors. Below is a larger
picture of the piece. |
